Like most people, Suman had also been victims of mis selling and information overload on
the internet. He understands the frustration of financial misinformation all too well. While
there is lot of advice and products and sellers, what is suitable, which is the correct course
was always hard to determine. Taking financial decisions with the lurking fear of going wrong
with money specially with time being a one way street was always daunting. Suman realised,
himself and people like him might not take action owing to the ‘analysis paralysis’
phenomenon.
This propelled Suman, to take the long route to research, enrol, study and successfully
complete Certified Financial Planner®, certification from Financial Standards and Planning
Board, USA since 2019. This enables Suman to practice Financial Planning in 23 countries
globally and most importantly, manage and invest his own money successfully. He is also an
MBA in Operations.
After his certification, Suman started working pro bono for 5 years, with different
organisations, helping working people manage debt, investments, guide to buy correct
insurance, thus making their lives simpler.
Finally Plan Your Money was founded on the core values of ethics, integrity, and putting
investors first. The vision is to empower individuals with honest and suitable investment
products and solutions, tailored to their unique financial goals. We believe in transparency
and education, there by empowering the clients.
Before starting Plan Your Money, Suman has successfully served in leadership roles for 30 years, with
companies that are industry leaders in the respective fields. He has also served as the Chief
Operating Officer of a listed company in India.
His prior association has been with Future Group, ILFS Milestone Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd,
Inox Leisure Limited amongst others.
